2015 Mazda CX-5 Touring
4-Door SUV · 2.5L SkyActiv 4-Cylinder · Meteor Gray
About this CX-5
This is the middle trim of the CX-5, and for a lot of buyers it's the smart one. You get the equipment that actually matters day to day - the touchscreen, the backup camera, Bluetooth, alloy wheels, roof rails - without paying for leather and navigation you may not care about. In Meteor Gray it's understated in a way the blue one on our lot isn't.
The reason people keep buying these used is the way they drive. Mazda tuned the CX-5 to feel like a car rather than a tall box, so the steering is quick and it stays flat through a corner instead of leaning and wallowing. Nothing else in the class at this price does that as well.
The 2.5-liter SkyActiv four returns close to thirty miles per gallon on the highway without a turbo or hybrid system to complicate things later. Roof rails mean you can run a cargo box or bike rack, and the rear seats fold for the hardware store trips.
It runs, drives, and everything works. The Touring equipment covers what you'd actually miss: touchscreen with a backup camera, Bluetooth for calls and music, dual-zone automatic climate, a power driver's seat, audio and cruise controls on the wheel, and 60/40 folding rear seats. Come drive it - and if you want to compare it back to back with the blue Grand Touring we have, we'll pull them both up front.
